What is Herbal Consultation?
A face to face consultation lasts for up to one hour and includes a detailed case history of past and present issues. Coupled with this, I employ the use of iridology in order to shed more light on a patient’s complaint and symptoms. Ensuring plenty of time is allocated for consulting the patient on their diet and lifestyle ensures the build up of an in depth picture of the needs of the client.
My Approach
As herbalists have a strong tradition of addressing the root cause of disease as well as recognising that the organs and systems of the body are all linked, a range of herbs may be recommended and dispensed for the patient. Herbs are made up for the individual patient and take the form of powders, tinctures and infusions. A typical prescription will consist of a bowel powder (as the bowels are quite literally at the seat of good health), tincture, infusion and nutritive powder, all tailor made for the patient by the herbalist at the request of the patient.
